Illicium is an independent studio built on two crafts — AI-driven creative and a family trade in edible oils — bound by a single instinct: allurement.
The Story
AI creative is the craft of persuading — how attention is won and desire is shaped. Oil — the family trade — is the craft of cultivating something pure, and being able to prove it is.
Only later did it become clear these were the same instinct in two costumes: the mastery of allurement. Illicium is the house built to hold both.

The Method
Vermeer painted skill not as performance but as a maker bent over instruments in window-light — patient, precise, unhurried. That is how the real work is done here.
No theatre. No overreach. Something made with care, and made honestly.
The Ethos
In Lorenzetti's Allegory of Good and Bad Government, a just city flourishes and a corrupt one decays — the oldest argument that integrity and prosperity are the same thing, seen from different years. It is the argument this house is built on, in both of its crafts.
