Illicium · House ii — Verum

Thirty-five years
in the press.

A specialist legacy practice rooted in over three decades in the edible-oil industry — sourcing, quality, refining and trade. Presented here as portfolio and perspective.

Sourcing · Quality · Refining · Trade · Supply Chain

Art direction — a Dutch still life of oil and glass (e.g. Willem Kalf). The amber pour, held to the light.

The Lineage

A veteran's craft,
made counsel.

This house is inherited. Thirty-five years of a retired veteran's work in the edible-oil industry — the feel for a good crop, an honest grade, a clean refine — carried forward here as a legacy practice and perspective.

The name is no accident. Illicium verum is star anise itself — an aromatic, oil-bearing botanical. The oil was in the house before the house had a name.

The Advisory

Across the
value chain.

01Sourcing & ProcurementOrigin selection, supplier vetting and crop-quality judgment.
02Quality & GradingSpecification, testing regimes and the difference between grades.
03Refining & ProcessingProcess advisory from crude to refined, yield to purity.
04Trade & PricingMarket read, contract structure and the timing of the trade.
05Traceability & Food SafetyTraceability, adulteration risk and food-safety diligence.

Verum — the true star. Purity you can trace.

The Promise

Purity is a thing
you can prove.

Adulteration is deception dressed as an honest thing. The same instinct that makes a product desired can also test whether it is pure.

Verum brings that scrutiny to supply: know your origin, prove your grade, defend your quality.

Three decades in the press — a legacy practice.
